The brave adventurer begins his quest, marching into the sunset and the unknown. Our sunset plates are kilnformed glass art objects inspired by the Italian Memphis Design Style movement of 1980s Milan. Pieces of colored sheet glass are cut apart and reassembled, then fired in an electric kiln to fuse them together. The fused glass object is then coldworked, sandblasted, and slumped to achieve a soft matte finish.
